Venomous Kate has been featured at the Honolulu Advertiser on a big problem of hers, and those of many on her beach: loss of land through erosion. Reading the article it seems clear to me that too many compromises are being thought contemplating the future of the beach ecosystem in front of her house, when action for a singular problem is necessary. Not even a temporary but workable solution has been “allowed” without fear of reprimand and penalty from the local government.

Absurdity at it’s finest. Honey, I hope they do something about your loss of land because by God, seeing the photo of the house and the beach in the same frame shows just how dangerous your spot is right now. I think the beach ecosystem will have to take a big step back in your case, and it’s only right that it does.
