Googlebombing tutorial

Dear friends, do you notice that nifty sidebar to the right of you? My blogware includes it as a part of the generated page everytime an entry is linked to. Because of the dynamic nature of my blogware all I need do is edit my PHP file and I can insert the phrase miserable failure as a component of my template.

With friendly permalinks on, Google considers each of the permalinks a separate page, each with its own link to the true miserable failure. I also added a link to the miserable failure in my blogroll (scroll down to Sietch Life where I link to community efforts). This is also included in the indexing of the page, as it is part of an archived page.

For users of non-dynamic blogware like GreyMatter and That Which Will Not Be Named, all you have to do is not to barrage a whole entry, say with forty links, but to add one little discreet link to the real miserable failure of American presidential history. Then, rebuild your templates and archives. In about a week the googlebots would have indexed each and every entry of yours with at least one link to the miserable failure per entry. Depending on how many entries you have, you have that many links in support of making sure that history remains true in recognizing which one is the real miserable failure.

This short tutorial was written by Jay, but the completely eeeevil idea was thought up by Matthew J. Stinson, who is in no way a miserable failure.

Heh. I was thinking of messing with a sidebar include to add ‘miserable’ failure. I use That Which Will Not Be Named but I cheat by using some dynamic content.

  • I have added a post to my site even though I am writing just for Blogsforbush right now I had two other blogs that I was going to use but never did they got posted tonight with the same miserable failure linking

Of course, everyone is free to choose their own miserable failure. But I would suggest someone more contemporary than Jimmeh.

    Another suggestion is neanderthal.
