The 32nd edition of the Bonfire Of The Vanities, a submission-based collection of the worst posts bloggers have to offer, is on fire at Josh Cohen’s online home.
While we’re on the topic of flames and burning and all that, our friends at Mozilla are having a hard time naming their bowser. From Phoenix to FireBird (which I lovingly referred to as FB) and now to Firefox, my heart bleeds for this nominally challenged browser project. May I suggest dropping the idea of it being on fire and just call it Moz-lite? It is, after all, the Mozilla browser without the bells and whistles, and has been around long enough to take on the characterisic of glowing embers than that of a burning canine that guards henhouses for free.

So that’s what Matt was referring to. I was like totally clueless. Let’s see if performs any better than Camino. Ok, no mangled code when I try to save stuff but still does that weird thing when I use a one column menu putting the menu in the wrong place. Got some stylesheet troubleshooting to do. Mind you, everything works perfect in Safari.

The Mop-Up
Here are some reactions to my treatment of the Bonfire of the Vanities — Number 32, that is… Eric from Classical Values calls me a “sci-fi nerdy type”… which I guess is true. Owen from Boots and Sabers says it…
