I live with that day described in my post. I remember it as if it were yesterday. But, through my mother&#039;s action that day, her getting off the busbench and standing proudly there with her son at her side, her not getting into a shouting match with the old man, her holding the tears in as she did, I learned that courage and dignity trump bigotry every time.</description>
