One Fine Jay

I was five and he was six…

…We rode on horses made of sticks
He wore black and I wore white
He would always win the fight…

Bang, bang. It’s the second annual Buy A Gun Day at Aaron’s Rantblog. Aaron says:

Do you actually have to BUY the gun today? No.

There are many things you can do to celebrate. Pledging counts (hey… it’s YOUR tax refund, right?). Joining or renewing an NRA membership counts. Getting someone who has never been an NRA member to join the NRA counts BIG TIME (send me a story in your comments!). Join Liberty Belles, Pink Pistols or Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership Pacifists for Pistols (ok, just making that one up), or any other organization that would give liberals who stereotype their constituencies like Charles Schumer or Dianne Feinstein long-overdue conniption fits.

Seasons came and changed the time
When I grew up, I called him mine
He would always laugh and say
“Remember when we used to play?”

Bang, bang.
