Showing more spirit

I’m am throwing myself behind the Victory Coalition, a group of blogs intent on raising the most donations for the Spirit Of America project. Now, there are two other coalitions out there, all competing for making the most bucks for a good cause, but I’d like to continue my personal theme of being unpredictable and a walking conflict of interest. I’m a loyal citizen under Emperor Misha. I’m a bloggy friend of Kevin of Wizbang, and I link to Dean Esmay every now and then. The race for donations starts on midnight of Wednesday.

On my end, I’ll try and put a little bit of “oomph” into my support by at least making it easier for our troops in the sandbox to cut through the white noise. Basically, if there’s spin I can unravel, even by a little, from my little armchair command center, I’ll do it. Less work for the weary, I say. At least once a day for the duration of the contest. That sounds like a lot, but after factoring in personal time, occupational time, and drinking time, I doubt I’ll be able to do the daily thing, but I promise to try.

Either way, dear friends, you can donate here. The following are members of the Victory Coalition so far… [EDITED: I'm taking down blogrolling SRC calls, so I'll be listing the blogs manually by myself tomorrow once I catch some sleep.]

Huh? I thought it started yesterday. What happened to the donation I made yesterday? Does it count? The webpage was there and accepted it. Huh? Huh? (okay, I’ll stop being annoying, *if* someone can tell me what happened to my donation)

Miss Lorn: your donation is where it belongs, to Spirit Of America. If I recall correctly donations sent before the “contest” starts counts as well anyway. If you got a receipt, they got it.
