The start of it all

I have no shame in preening about how I am probably one of the earliest warbloggers to have adopted WordPress. How did I stumble across this fine piece of software?
A long time ago, I employed Matt Mullenweg’s random image rotator for the banner graphics of my old design. Having credited him, he left the following comment: Looks good. I see you’re using b2, you might also like WordPress. It’s what I use. 
The rest is history.
