Twelve uncooked Jimmy Dean sausage links at Wal-Mart: 2.64USD.
Twelve cooked, heat and serve Jimmy Dean sausage links at Wal-Mart: 2.74USD.
I’d skip the ten cents savings to avoid the aggravation of having to cook breakfast meat in a frying pan with hot oil, spending more than ten cents of cooking gas in the process. Do I hear an “amen?”

Of course, such would make sense, provided the choice was some other kind of sausage, like say, Owens.
