Bad idea

Boi From Troy issues a warning:
The argument that a closeted gay person working for a Republican Congressman is promoting social injustice by promoting hir/her boss and their ideas is bunk. There are scores of qualified people across the country who could and are willing to do just as good a job promoting the Congressman and his vision. Outing a staffer–and maybe getting them fired–only reduces whatever influence that staffer may have in shaping policy…and evin if that influence is incremental or nuanced, it matters.
You don’t fuck around with a person’s livelihood. Funny. Does it not escape those who out others that they are, themselves, playing with the fire of bigotry that they say they are against?

As an FYI, the village idiot’s post was slightly more nuanced than BFT would have had it to be.
