I will definitely miss her, and love the tribute. She and the GG shaped a lot of my early interest in cooking and food. Besides, she was a patriot who served in the OSS as well. Rest well, dear Lady.

Pigging Out And Julia
Ate too much pizza, spinach, mushroom and garlic pizza to be precise, yum, and feel like a real pig. Got clawed in the process, kitties have to make their presence felt especially when not being petted.

Agree with your analysis of her culinary brilliance. Though I do have a lot of respect for Alton Brown, his brilliance is as a communicator of ideas and a thinker, not as a chef.

I for one will DEFINITELY miss the lady.
