With the release of this new video, Bush=Hitler has officially jumped the shark. It’s like when a tv show has a guest star who keeps coming back until his boorish character becomes permanent and ruins the whole show. Your guest star is Hitler and his time has come.

[...]Hitler has become passe. It’s time to shake the cobwebs off of another villain and retire old Adolf to the Home for Symbols of George Bush’s Regime, along with Shrub and Chimp. I’ve seen those protests signs you guys have made. I know you are a creative bunch. Be a sport and come up with something else or we just won’t take you seriously anymore.

Can someone say Heather Locklear? Muhahaha. On a more serious note, I think that the folks at MoveOn.org are falling victim into the Creativity Trap that PETA has fallen into with their horrific ad campaigns. In an attempt to be catchy, hip, PoMo, and attractive, they are simply sinking deeper into the repulsive.

On the same “So 2003″ line of thinking, Matthew J. Stinson and Michael J. Totten are having an interesting conversation clarifying the political vocabulary: leftist vs. liberal. Once again, blanket attacks on liberals by including leftists among their ranks is so 2003. Know thyself and know thy enemy, beyond all the jokes that Frank J. has been writing. I think we can blame this confusion of terms on the likes of Ann Coulter—nay, not “on the likes’ of her but directly on her indeed—who have, or has, made a pretty penny playing to the most visceral of emotions in churning out her rhetoric.
