Tasty, but with a blech moment

Dinner tonight was at the recently-opened Baja Fresh; it’s a pretty big meal for $8.13 (steak Burrito Ultimo Enchilado style) and though it doesn’t come close to other “authentic Mexican food” joints—nor do I expect it to, it being a chain and all—it could hold its own, if it could correct one thing: “grilled” does not mean “tastes like carbon.” The bitter tang of burnt stuff really stabs through the beef flavor much.
