Welcome to my life.

I'm a self-avowed WordPress Whisperer with a specialization in front-end design. I live in Maryland. I take lovely photos, go to the gym a lot, and opine strongly over design, aesthetics, and politics. I'm prolific on Twitter; I used to post to Flickr; I have a moblog and in my spare time I help out at the SemperFi WP Support forums. Read more about me.

The hobgoblin deity of small political minds

It’s no surprise to hear that the prime suspects of a break-in on the Bush/Cheney 04 campaign are Democrat operatives, (hopefully, for Kerry’s sake, working independently, shyeah right). It’s an even smaller surprise to hear partisan liberals say that Rove did it. Take, for example, Ara Rubyan’s comment over this news at Dean’s, where he is promptly put in place by Dean himself:

So based on 20 year old unsubstantiated allegations about Karl Rove that people “felt” must be true, we now should believe it likely that the super-genius mastermind probably orchestrated a break-in to a Bush headquarters in Washington State in order to make Democrats look bad. Not some twits at Kerry or DNC headquarters or even maybe some completely unaffiliated folks maybe attached to MoveOn or the other rabid Bush-hating gorups, folks who on their own went over the top and did something dumb?

There’s also a certain irony there, “You folks are so predictable” and saying that the evil mastermind Rove must be in charge of every bad thing that happens, both in the same paragraph.

This Rove worship is really tiring, eh?
