Dentistry
December 3, 2004
Had a filling for my front tooth. Very important, that one. A front gap tooth would make me a candidate for Extreme Dentistry or something like that. And I can’t afford veneers.
The “residual root” of my first molar was an even bigger challenge. The damn thing had to be split in three. And it was a “surgical” procedure. It says so on my bill.
I’m barely coherent. I’m not as beat up as what I felt last time, but it’s pretty close. Hopefully the topical and local anesthetic combos wear off this afternoon. I shudder to even consider nerve damage. I haven’t smoked yet either.
Life is good and William Shatner’s Common People (Link warning, that’s a lyrics site and may include popups and spyware. Use Firefox for that one.) is gonna be playing on loop for the entire afternoon. Though there are no roaches on the wall I sure would like to smoke a fag and pretend I never went to school on a warmer than usual winter day and oh boy wouldn’t it be nice to just dance and drink and screw because there’s nothing else to do…
